Verder Liquids has won the prestigious Global Business Excellence Award in the “Outstanding New Product/Service” category for its Verderflex Dura D65 peristaltic hose pump, which was launched last year.

The jurors particularly lauded the pump’s high performance and small size, calling the Verdaflex Dura D65 “the first real development in hose pump technology since the arrival of the high-pressure hose”. In the contest, Verder had to beat out some top-notch competition. The Global Business Excellence Awards are among the best-known awards of its kind worldwide and attract correspondingly large numbers of entries.

Colin Heathfield, Product Manager for Verderflex Peristaltic Pumps, therefore is all the more pleased: “Winning this award is a great confirmation of our work and our philosophy of constantly developing products on the basis of customer requirements. Our Verderflex Dura 65 uses existing technology and – utilising an existing frame size – now delivers a maximum flow rate of 33,000 litres per hour with all the benefits of peristaltic hose technology. We have achieved this by looking at every detail and exploiting every small potential for improvement, with the support of our development team. The result is a pump which gives good value economically with an optimal flow per frame size performance ratio.”
